#2 Be realistic with your pricing. — Price is #1. Some say location is #1. Location is important, its #2 on the list of importance. If it is a great location, with a $5,000,000 price tag, you probably can’t afford it. Price is most important. Its one reason why our market is so hot… because compared to the Toronto market, it is a great deal! When pricing your home for sale.. we want to attract buyers. I can go more into this for you and your exact situation, but this is a very important point we can expand a lot more on 1 on 1. — When buying, you want to have a realistic head space on price.. if you are looking at million dollars homes and have a $500,000 budget… you will be disappointed. #3 Get pre-approved for a mortgage. This ties in with be realistic with pricing, for buyers. This is very important. Worst thing we want if for you to fall in love with a home, and you can’t afford it, or, we aren’t able to ask fast enough, and the home, your home that you loved, gets SOLD to someone else. #4 Use Realtor.ca for your home search. There are a lot of odd sites out there with outdated info, and thats not good. Realtor.ca is awesome. AND, even better! #5 Be respectful of time. This is a no brainer. But, we really need to focus in to make it happen.
